Is Anthracite released every year? It looks to be one of the only Bal colors (besides black) to be re-released. How does Anthracite 2013 compare to other seasons, like 2012 for instance?

Hi! 2012 and 2013 are different Anthras... I think 2013 is much more shiny than 2012. That's my brand new (received it yesterday) 2012 Anthra Work with GSH!

I'm in with my new 2012 Anthracite city with RGHW. This color is awesome. Almost black in some lights and a deep silvery black in others. It was love at first wiff! The smell, the smoothness, the details.....oh my! I've been reading the boards looking for care tips, but would love any info any of you experts care to share. I of course want to protect it against water spots (or does that not hurt them? I'm a LV vachetta water-worry-wart) also how to keep the leather smell, and prevent darkening of the handles. I just want ti be an educated bali owner is all, and protect her as I have my LV's. I'm so happy to be here!

Thank you. Actually I've never actually taken care of it. Never applied any oils, or pampered it. In fact, it's been in the rain and harsh weather multiple times. I guess old Balenciaga bags just have incredible quality leather. They are literally indestructible and stand the test of time.

I used to have a sizable Balenciaga collection, but over time sold pretty much everything except this one!
