Which Ramona do you like for everday bag, most versatile? Black with snakeskin detail or black patent leather? I want both but can't afford!!! Help!

I just tried a bunch of outfits on with the snakeskin and am leaning towards keeping it. I think I'd get more use out of it. Also the Chanel Coco Cabas in black patent is on my short list so more variety. Do love the black patent too though! Any more opinions welcome though! 
I think the black distressed with snakeskin trim. I have a patent Riki and although I love it to death and it is my favorite bag, I wear it just about every single day (even though I've bought a few more bags since) because I know that 1) the patent trend is not going to last forever and 2) I just can't wear patent leather when it's hot out and that will be very soon. I live in Sacramento so it's hot here much of the year.
I think the distressed leather is more timeless. You will be able to get more use out if it in the long run. I do have to say the black patent Ramona is gorgeous though! Either way you can't go wrong!
