Preface: I don't just test the waters, I dive right in to the deep end.
So I've been lurking and posting and moving and renovating, and being fed up with all of the dust that's not carbon making sparkly things (sawdust, drywall dust, etc.). So during my time of not hearing construction (and destruction) sounds, I've been making a mental list. This past week I did a whirlwind trip through as many of the big jewelry stores as I could manage in a day (which is a lot). I was set on pink gold, but my trek into Van Cleef settled that pretty much right away, so white gold it was. I was thinking the frivole earrings, as they seem pretty every day, but the SA was set in stone on selling me a 20 MOP in white gold, which though lovely, was not what I was seeking this time. Off I went in search of more inspiration. I looked at Fred's, Mikimoto, Tiffany & Co., and stopped by Cartier. There I was stumped by the dilemma of the two sizes. One size too big for one wrist and the other a big on the other wrist, but I do like looser more than tighter, especially when getting used to a new kind of bracelet. I left again with another card. After Chanel, Dior, and a few other stores, I had a pile of stores and no goodies. So I thought and knew what I wanted (and know what I still want), and called up the SA who had helped me. A pretty box arrived promptly at my door. As I'm busy with contractors all day long, all I can take are midnight shots in the dark. Thanks for letting me share. Please excuse my collage skills as they are pretty much nonexistent at this time of night. :/ But I have sparklies! I also know from watching reveals and posts here that I want those frivole earrings still. I think they will be next.
Part one was my 2ctw round earring studs (and jackets) that I've not revealed yet on here, bought from a no name jeweler.
