Hi all,

I wanted to get a piece of jewelry to remember my grandmother by.

I was thinking of the love, but was wondering what other piece of jewelry it could be.

All suggestions are welcome!

Did you grandmother have any favourite jewellery or symbols she liked (hearts, flowers, animals etc)? Because the jewellery I have to remind me of someone links to something they liked or something we shared in common. The love of course has relevant symbolism as well.

I like loogirls's birthstone suggestion too.

How about a vintage locket, perhaps inscribed with an etching of your grandmother or some other symbolic inscription to remember her by? I did something like this using a small vintage Tiffany pocket watch and chain sourced on etsy. All in, it was under $1500.
