Jewelry designer with shiniest 18k yellow gold chains?

Hi Everyone! I’m looking to buy a delicate Pearl or mother of Pearl necklace on a 18k yellow gold chain. I’m considering the Cartier Amulette XS in mother of pearl, the Tiffany olive leaf pendant with pearl, or even a David Yurman petite solari necklace with Pearl and diamonds.

Between Cartier, Tiffany, and David Yurman, which necklace chain would be the shiniest and have the most presence? It seems that all of these designers are using very thin chains on these delicate necklaces, and because I don’t plan to layer I’d want them to have some presence on their own.

I bought a DY solari gold necklace with turquoise beads and the chain was disappointingly thin and flimsy.
I was shocked bec the silver/pearl version I tried on in store was a bit thicker & more substantial and looked beautiful. I didn't realize the gold one was so much thinner.
I returned it immediately.

I don't know about the Cartier Amulette but I have heard that the Cartier chains for Diamante Legers sparkle very beautifully.

Just FYI, the name may have changed to Cartier D'Amour necklace since I can't find Legers on the website anymore.

Have you tried any of the necklaces on in stores?

Thanks so much! I will add the Cartier to my list. No, I haven't tried any of the necklaces on yet. I'm making my list of top 2-3 contenders to I can narrow my search when I make it over to the boutiques.
