I can't seem to make a decision. I have enough $ saved to make a small purchase. Here is what I'm thinking:

1) Start a Pandora Bracelet - A Silver Bangle with one charm (Frog Prince - This is by far my favorite charm)
2) Tiffany & Co. Silver Butterfly Pendant (I think this is so pretty and would be a nice piece for spring/summer)
3) Alex Woo "M" Letter Pendant with Small Silver Smiley Face Charm (I don't have an initial pendant and the smiley face charm I think is so cute)
4) A Basic, Everyday Pendant - Some I'm thinking about - Tiffany and Co. Elsa Peretti Silver 14 mm Round Pendant, Elsa Peretti Small Open Heart Necklace, or a Silver Lock from the Tiffany Locks collection (the medium silver heart lock - can get for $100 without chain)

For Silver pendants, I have the Tiffany mini bow pendant and the Tiffany small heart key pendant. I wear the key pendant all the time. It's almost like my signature piece. I'm looking for something that would be different from what I have but also something that could work for both casual and dressy styles.

I like simple, classic pieces and I'm 41 years old so also age appropriate. I think of my choices the Alex Woo one is probably the least age appropriate but it's something I come back to all the time because I think it's "fun".

I love the idea of starting a Pandora bracelet. I don't have anything from Pandora other than a ring. Would it look silly though to have the bangle with only one charm on it until I'm able to get more pieces?

Any feedback would be appreciated. :)

Update - I ordered:
Tiffany Locks heart lock in sterling silver, medium.
Small beaded chain in silver - 18"

My husband helped me picked it out. I had been eyeing that lock. It was actually in my saved items list. He didn't like the butterfly. I don't have any necklaces on an 18" chain so I'm giving it a try.

The good news is that I have money leftover to start a Pandora bracelet.

My husband is funny - he thinks instead of getting into Pandora, that I should just pick something else out from Tiffany. He thinks Pandora is "trendy" and "not classic" like Tiffany. I hope that is not insulting to Pandora owners. I'm torn - I like the idea of a Pandora bracelet (in particular a bangle with a few charms) but I do love Tiffany and can always find pieces from there. What to do, what to do...

I too struggle with this from time to time but now I accept that I love them both. I like tiffany designs very much ....they are simple and clean, but I also like the sentimentalism of pandora... I have one pandora bracelet that is full of charms that are meaningful to me and while I won't start another bracelet, I love the one I have. For my other jewelry, I go back to tiffany.

Oops, I hit send too quickly! I was going to mention that it Maybe worth looking into getting a gently used one for a lot less money!

I think I will go to the Pandora store and try out the new silver bangle. I will see how I like it with the Frog Prince on it along with two stoppers (so he doesn't move around). I won't get more than that if I do like it because that's all I can afford for now (and frankly, I would like to keep the bracelet to only a few charms).
If this doesn't work out, then I'm probably going to pick up something else from Tiffany - the question is what? - because I'm all over the place with what I want. I would love a DBTY silver bracelet. I know I would wear it all the time but $300 seems like a lot. Is this really worth it?

If u love it and will wear it all the time, then I feel it is worth it. But I am biased cos I love the dbty collection :p.

That cuff is gorgeous! Congratulations.

Also, I have to say I'm with your husband on this one. The 'regrets' thread is full of people saying they wish they hadn't spent so much money on their Pandora bracelets. I realise that there are people who are still very much in love with theirs, but I think the fact that you're only head-over-heels for one charm is a bit of a red flag thinking long-term. My best friend has a Pandora bracelet and it cost her over AU$1,200 to finish it, and now she only wears it once in awhile with more casual weekend looks. With that money, she could have had a decent diamond solitaire DBTY style necklace to wear all day everyday!

Anyway, congratulations again on your new purchases :smile1: I think you made great decisions.
