hello :) nice to meet you all!
have never really posted in the jewellery section before since am not much of a fine jewellery person. But considering that I'm 21 and starting a new stage of my life soon, I want a ring to mark this time. I lurked about and found two options:

CHANEL CAMELIA RING

18k white gold, onyx and diamonds.
price: £720 (if my memory doesn't betray me...).

DIORETTE RING

I know they are very different in the price range and right now I am leaning towards the camelia ring, mainly because it's more "wearable". However, I do love the colourfulness of the diorette and think it goes better with me.

Any feedback would be amazing :) specially info on which is more value for money since I am a TOTAL newbie on jewellery...

the chanel. it's more elegant and versatile.
pretty choices, btw. i don't usually like dior or chanel jewelry but i think both of these are very cute, and i especially love the chanel.

thanks all for your replies! :D:D

it seems unanimous then! I have tried both on and I was really quite sure I would get the Chanel in the end but just needed that extra push haha. I'll be visiting this vintage jewellery shop first though, just to be 100% sure since this will be a special ring for me :)

As for the Juicy Couture ring... when did JC jewelry get so cute?? I will definitely hunt that ring down! grrrr! :graucho:

I think the chanel is a better value overall - especially if you plan to wear it frequently. I also think it will be something that would be a "classic". Enamel work can be rather delicate so I would caution against the Dior.

Vanillinae, post pictures when you get it.. it's gorgeous :)

I also really love the Dior.. it's deceptive, though; they use real stones in there but it's hard to tell!
