I am looking to replace my badly worn Longchamp Large Lepliage Tote. I carry it to work everyday along side a handbag. Can I do the same thing with a Michael Kors Jet Set Large Top Zip Tote? Or will it look like I'm carrying 2 purses?

I have a top zip tote large and it looks like a tote and not handbag to me. Don't get the one with pockets on side it looks like smaller than the top zip jet set one. I carry lots of stuff in it.

If you're referring to the Jet Set Top Zip Tote with the pockets on the side, I think that looks more like a purse than a tote. If you're referring to the Jet Set Travel Top Zip Tote without the side pockets, then I think that looks more like a tote and would work for you. MK uses the word "Jet Set" for a lot of bags that look very similar. You need to be careful which one you choose.
