^She used to have a clothing line, princy, and I think they mostly focused on jeans. When asked who her favorite jean designer was, she never once mentioned herself, just said 7's or R&R's. Her whole clothing line got scrapped, it did so bad publicity wise. I bought a pair of her jeans, I still have them, they are one of my favorite pairs, but sooooo not worth the $80 some odd original price tag. I think I paid $20 lol. She had a make-up line also (dessert? I think that's what it was called) and again, no publicity or marketing, so whoever sold it scrapped it also. She's normally got very cute accessories, and her outfits are hit or miss, but their never her own brand. Not saying she should always market herself and always wear her brand, but she never wears her stuff!

Maybe it's just me, but I really hate it when celebs try to hawk their own clothing line when being asked questions like that. It just seems so pretentious.

I do like it when celebs wear their own clothes though. It's like, if they don't wear it, why should I?

Oh I agree, it's 100% pretentious. It's like, of course you're going to say good things about your brand, it's owned by you! But at the same time, if you don't talk about it, then it won't gain recognition/popularity and it will flop. I'm not saying she should have always said she loved her stuff and her stuff only, but her talking it up and wearing it would have gone (and probably still would go) a long way in terms of sales! :smile1:
