Jennie Garth

Kelly and Dylan reunited!
They were once one of television's most watched couples.

And 20 years on it seems Beverly Hills, 90210 stars Jennie Garth and Luke Perry are as close as ever.

As the pair reunited for a fan event yesterday, it was easy to see their Kelly Taylor and Dylan McKay chemistry resurface.
The iconic onscreen couple looked as cozy as ever as they posed on a ladder at an Old Navy store in Los Angeles.

At one point Perry even nuzzled his former costar's neck.

Jennie, 40, recently revealed that 45-year-old Perry has helped her through her divorce from Twilight actor Peter Facinelli, her husband of 11 years.

'Luke has been one of my friends who I can call and talk about stuff and has been through something himself,' the mother-of-three said in this week's In Touch.
And Luke must have an insight into her grief, having divorced his wife of a decade Minnie Sharp nine years ago. They share joint custody of their two children Jack and Sophie.

The smiling actress told US Weekly at the three-day event that she is currently writing a sitcom with Perry.

'We want to work together again because we really love each other and it would be nice to spend time together working,' Garth said.

Perry, whom Garth calls 'one of my best friends,' was handsomely rumpled as always in a striped button-up, loose blue jeans, and black canvas sneakers.

Meanwhile, Jennie looked youthful as ever in her kelly-green top with kimono sleeves, black trousers, and black strappy heels while reminiscing with excited fans at the Beverly Boulevard store.

The Old Navy event, which ends Sunday, also offers fans a free pair of jeans and a chance to meet 90210 veteran Gabrielle Carteris as well as live music, DJ, a photo booth, and fun giveaways.

She's been flaunting her slimmer, 'revenge' figure since splitting with her husband of over a decade.

And newly single Jennie Garth strapped on a sexy collar necklace and leather mini-dress - rocking her edgier look at the End Of Watch premiere tonight at Regal Cinemas L.A. Live.

When the fierce 40-year-old thrust out her chest to pose for pictures on the red carpet, it was clear her flirty sleeveless dress had an overall reptilian texture.

Rumours circulated that Jennie Garth was on something of a heartbreak diet as her weight plummeted following her split from Peter Facinelli.
But now the actress has revealed she is healthier and happier than ever after shedding a staggering '30lbs of dead weight' - and has claimed the bad state of her 17 year marriage was having a negative impact on her appearance.
In a candid interview the 90210 star reveals that her relationship with the Twilight actor was suffering long before they announced their split, and she was battling depression as a result.I spent a couple of years lying in bed being depressed,' she tells People magazine. 'It was that "I can't breathe" pain.

'Physically I didn't look my best, and mentally I didn't feel my best. I was doing everything I could to be a good mom, but that was all I could handle.'

The 40-year-old revealed her new slimline figure following the couple's break-up in March.

Following her March split with Twilight star Peter Facinelli after 17 years of marriage, Jennie Garth cut a noticeably slimmer figure.
Now the Beverly Hills 90210 actress has revealed the full extent of her weight loss and it seems an exercise regime and diet has been keeping her active and positive.
Jennie told the magazine her body transformation came when she realised she had became a shadow of her former self.
She says she was finally motivated to do something about it when she saw a home video of herself. We were dancing to Wii and I didn't know I was being filmed by my nephew,' she explains.
The actress says she was 'stunned' by the 'depressed person' she saw on camera.
'I didn't even know that person. I'm such a different person now.'

Following the end of her marriage, the actress hid herself away on her Californian ranch in Santa Ynez, with her three girls Luca, 14, Lola, nine, and Fiona, five.
But after celebrating her 40th birthday, Jennie realised that she could no longer be a hermit.
'I just looked at it like there's no way I can hide out in the country and never work again, never love again and never laugh again,' she says.
'The past year has been a bit of a rebirth for me as a person by shedding that negative space and all the pain associated with that time.'

It was then that the TV star, famous for her role as Kelly Taylor on the hit Nineties TV series Beverly Hills 90210, moved back to Los Angeles and got busy.
With the help of a personal trainer and a healthy diet, Jennie dropped 30lbs.

She credit her weight loss to a combination of eating smaller portions, consisting of a diet of Greek yoghurt, salads, salmon and coconut water, and an exercise regime of lightweight gym training twice a week, hiking and personal training sessions.
And she says that she didn't push herself, gently losing 1-2lbs a week over the course of six months.

Staying focused, Jennie also tried not to think about the emotional things going on in her life.
'Sitting around on the couch eating Pringles all day is not going to help anyone,' she says.
While she is enjoying her new life and 'not pining' for Facinelli, she admits that her heart still sinks when she sees happy couples and families out and about.
'I go out, and I see happy families - and men and women out on dates - and there's a part of me that's like, "Ouch!" But you have to pick yourself up and say "Let's go!"' she says.
Although she believes it was the right decision for her and Peter to break-up, Jennie does worry about how her children are handling their parents' divorce.
The actress said: 'I end up apologising to them a lot and I say, "I'm sorry for the way things are, the way things have been. They're not going to be the way we thought they were going to be."
'It's challenging on a lot of levels. Peter and I are certainly putting them first. We're working really hard to be the best co-parents that we can be.'
The actress has recently just plunged back into the dating pool, and despite being spotted out on a date with handsome photographer Noah Abrams, she reveals that she is still single.
She admits that the whole dating game is nerve-racking.
'Sometimes it feels awkward, and sometimes it feels really natural. I just want to love and be loved,' she explains.

Jennie just recently wrapped The Eleventh Hour, a Lifetime movie adaptation of CNN correspondent Nancy Grace's novel.
