I am so sorry for the people, and the friends and families of the people of Java. How terrible.
Just devastating. Thanks for bringing awareness of this tragedy.
i read that in the news, i feel sad for them, it is bad enough that there people are not that well off and now to have such natural disaster.
Those poor people never get a break
^it's so true!
hi! i'm from indonesia. yes, it's been a devastating times from us.
after the earthquake yesterday, i just feel another earthquake about half an hour ago... it's getting scary. i aboid to hear a lot of news on tv because sometimes they exaggarate everything.
Oh my goodness. My heart is with you seahorseinstripes. How do you cope? What do you do to keep your spirits up? (besides avoiding the news?) you are brave! I hate feeling so helpless to do something right now.
I know... this is awful
Those poor people! My heart goes out to the victims and their families!
Such terrible news. Seahorseinstripes, keep safe.
so many natural calamities lately......
Checking in from Jakarta, Indonesia... It looks like it's not over yet. Wednesday evening (around 6pm jkt time) brought us another one, felt throughout the Jakarta area. A scary few minutes for people in tall buildings.
How do we cope? My answer would be...day by day. Otherwise, I'll be living in constant fear. Geologically speaking, parts of Indonesia are earthquakes waiting to happen, unfortunately Add to that the fact that we don't have an adequate warning system it seems like Indonesians will have a rather rough few months ahead...
Thanks for the kind thoughts.
yes, i just take it easy. i don't want to be too paranoid. i felt the quake too yesterday.
r u in jakarta too, iamsita?
you two are very inspirational and brave seahorseinstripes and Iamsista. Keep your heads up!
