Our suggestion thread closed December 6th, 2010: http://forum.purseblog.com/books-an...uary-2011-suggestions-here-please-643962.html

We have the opportunity to vote for our next selection here. The poll will close on December 16th, which hopefully gives you enough time to put your selection on any gift wish lists. :graucho:

Reading should commence in January. At that time a general discussion thread will be posted, followed by 3 specific study questions. This is a read at your own pace.

Our 7 choices are:

I just want to say:

PLEASE if you are voting in the book club have every intention of reading the book and participating in the discussion. I felt like those who suggested and/or voted for Mennonite in a LBD weren’t even around for the reading and discussion.

Thanks

There were at least four books in the poll that I would be happy reading. Coincidentally, these are the four that have been voted for.

I don't mind reading a paper book, as I do not own an e-reader. Did you see that Amazon has a used copy of Good Omens for $0.01?

I guess I have gotten used to the ease and convenience of my Kindle but I have no problem buying the paperback if the winning book is not available as an e-book.

Cindi - you mentioned you wanted to change your vote..were you able to edit that? I cannot go back into a poll and change votes, I looked into it yesterday.

I think I am going to leave it as is. If I have to buy the paperback I will do so. No biggie. Hubby is familiar with the book and said I would probably like it as it is similar to another author I do like, Christopher Moore.
