Jane Fonda wore a gold dress to the premiere of her new film Youth at the Toronto Film Festival on Saturday.

The actress, 77, defied her age as she stunned in a long-sleeved, floor-length gold gown with a high neckline that showed off her slim figure.

The Grace and Frankie star added a matching gold handbag and pointed heels as she posed at The Elgin Theatre screening.

She's been in show business for 52 years - but Jane Fonda is still learning.

'I'm so happy to say that I'm almost 78, and I still feel like a student,' the star gushed after receiving the Santa Barbara International Film Festival's Kirk Douglas Award For Excellence In Film on Saturday evening.

The icon was toasted by Elizabeth Banks, Diane Lane and 98-year-old Kirk, who appeared via video, at the gala, held at the Bacara Resort & Spa, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

I think she's about the most beautiful woman of that age ever. Helen Mirren is attractive and age-appropriate but no comparison to Jane.
The other one who's younger but is looking amazing for her age is Raquel Welch. IMO

It may be hard to believe that Jane Fonda is 77-years-old, as she looks better than most women half her age.

The actress wore a striking outfit as she attended the 16th Annual Hollywood Film Awards where she picked up an award for Supporting Actress for her role in Youth.

Fonda shined on the red carpet at the star-studded award ceremony at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills on Sunday.

Yes, pretty darn good for 77 -- but her face has tons of lines, probably from smoking and the pictures they use have always been softened or just done with a flash that softens everything.

Just so you know, she looks fabulous, but not that fabulous.

I'm not trying to be mean, it's just Hollywood never shows reality and I like to see reality. I saw her once in person and she has lines all around her mouth and lower part of her face, which we can't see here.
