I was browsing ebay, and I found a James Perse tank that I am interested in, but it says it's made in china. I have about 15-20 James perse things and they are all made in the USA. Does anyone know if JP even does make tanks in china?

Hmmm... don't know what to tell you.
Most my James Perse items are all made in the USA too.

The thing is his fashion "cut" can be easily duplicated style-wise, BUT what set his fashion apart is his texture in his fabric. That cotton fabric of his sure isn't a low end spun, KWIM... therefore if it is "chinsy" it is questionable.

I'm pretty sure that all James Perse stuff is made in the US. They're local to Los Angeles and run their entire business from here... that's probably why it's so expensive!
The best ebay rule of thumb: if you have a doubt, don't get it!
