Recently I got stung by the “low heel slingback” bug!
After the Gucci Signoria 😍 I’m looking to j’adior and RV virgule, which are quite similar.
Opinion on comfort and durability? At 40+ comfort is a must for me, I don’t tolerate feet pain anymore!

I have these J’Adior shoes. Disclaimer: I only wear heels for special occasions since, in my opinion, no heels are truly comfortable. That said, I find these comfortable enough to tolerate for a few hours. For me, they’re more comfortable than the Manolo Blahnik Hangisi 70.

I can’t comment on durability since I’ve only worn them a few times for weddings. So far, they’ve held up well. I was initially concerned that the fabric might fray easily, but so far, so good.

I have the non sling back j’adiors. They killed my feet the first few times I wore them. They’re comfortable enough (definitely not the most comfortable heels I own). But they still look new. You would not know they’re 4 years old.

I don't know if I should give my thoughts since I think it's relatively well known on this forum that I have a high pain tolerance and love very high heels.

However, I do have an issue with sling backs (regardless of heel height). They have never worked out for me. They either slip off or are too tight and cut into my feet. I've even had Manolo slingbacks (which everyone says Manolos are very comfy), that cut into my feet.

Having said that, I have tried on the J'adior slingbacks in-store and have found them to be very comfortable. I feel that their toe box is wider than SL and CL and the width of the slingback is wide and stretchy.
But, I only tried them on in-store, I don't own a pair and have no experience with them.

That thin RV slingback just reminds of my Manolo slingbacks that gave me so much discomfort and pain and I would not even bother trying them on.

Just my general thoughts though. Good luck and happy shopping! Let us know what you end up getting and how you like them.

I find Roger Vivier usually to be very comfortable with this type of heel. The J'adior looks so similar, though the heel looks a touch taller. Does the J'adior heel strap have any stretch to it? Might help to keep it on the foot.

Please show us what you end up with!

Thank you all! I’ve read several reviews on the j’adior stating that they aren’t comfortable after a few hours, not what you would expect from a 950 € shoes :crybaby:
