Jade

I would only recommend buying jade at a reputable jeweler, especially in Chinatown, NY. Any other place, even legit sites like Macy's or QVC or HSN, sell fake jade or colored stones. True jade is hard to distinguish without a trained eye so I would only go to a jeweler that you trust not to rip you off. I definitely would not buy any jade online. You really have to see the stone in person since each stone is so unique. You need to feel it, feel the weight, the tranlucency of the stone, check for marks or flaws.
