Hi ladies,
I was just wondering if anyone on here has, or knows of someone that has purchased the J12 online either ebay or a watch retailer, obviously under the assumption that it is authentic? Just exploring my options.....TIA.

some purchase from the Jomashop w/discounts, but it's a grey market dealers so manufactory's warranty could be void. For a watch in this high of amount I'd rather get it from Saks or boutique that can ship tax free, GL!

I'd be cautious about buying a J12 from anyone except a reputable dealer. The only way you can tell if a J12 is authentic is by taking it to Chanel. They will send it out to their service department in N.Y. or N.J. and they have to remove the back of the watch to authenticate it. I bought one, and when the letter and watch was sent back to me, the letter stated my worst fears............NOT authentic. You would never know just by looking at the watch. Even the Chanel store couldn't tell, as they removed a few links for me to size the watch. Thank goodness I followed up on the authenticity, for I am now in a lawsuit with the person I bought it from.

^^Wow that is a horrible story!!! I can't thank you enough for cautioning me. I guess I will just save up for the extra few thousand I would save if buying online then. Thanks ladies.

Agreed - although Jomashop has authentic items, I would be really wary buying from them !
