all j brand lovers was looking into buying one of their skinny jeans to try out i usually wear a 25 in sevens and citizens sometimes with a lil room in the butt area in the citizens, lol was wondering how the j brand fit compared to the sizing on both of these brands. Not sure if i should go with a 24 or 25 considering they will stretch out a lil

i'm a 25 on true religions and R&Rs...i recently purchased my first pair of J Brand jeans (10" skinny) and i went for a size 26 which fits perfectly...the 25 was a bit too tight on me, however i was told over time it would stretch

It really depends on the material IMO.
The 2% lycra I believe fits TTS for me. I wear 24 in Citizens, 7s, TR, and Paige and got a 24 in J brand jeans and it fit PERFECTLY. the best fit ever!

However the 2% spandex seems to run a bit big because ti stretches out. I know they make a size 23 in some J brand styles but haven't tried those before.

So overall I would say TTS!

Also some colors are less stretchier like the ginger color and silver fox?? Check out Revolveclothing.com, they have a good selection of J Brand and they give you sizing help in their description.

I tried both SFAM and J Brand and found them to be similiar sizing. Maybe the J Brands were slightly bigger but only slightly - I would have purchased the same size in each (and I loved both brands).

Go down a size IMO. The butt will probably stretch out after several wears if you get your normal size. I usually wear a 27 or 28 (usually the latter) in AG's, Citizens, Sevens, and my J Brands are a 27. :smile1: They were a bit tight to begin with, but are perfect now... had I gone with a 28, I would have a lot of butt saggage haha, which I can't stand. :p

Cigarette leg (14 in. opening) runs big. You can order a size down than your normal size.

Skinny leg (10 in. opening) and Pencil leg (12 in. opening) runs true to size.

I have three pairs of J.Brand jeans and they do stretch over time, especially at the waist. Friends of mine and I all complain about having to constantly pull up their jeans. I would pass on J.Brand.

I wear a size 24 in J Brands and 24 in everything else and they fit fine. I have the 12" pencil leg jeans. The thigh area is a little lose on me but the waist fits me fine (plus I like to wear jeans I can wear when I am eating and when my tummy is bloated I need a little extra room lol).

I would probably recommend 25 for you but for a tighter fit probably 24 would work.
