J. Brand! Pencil 912 vs 942

Does anyone know the difference? I have nothing but 912 pencil jeans by JBRAND and I thought all pencils were 912 but I just got a pair secondhand and they say 942. Just curious!

Hmm wasn't able to get an answer but now that I have them, based on my impression, the 942s fit just like my 912s but a teeeny bit lower. Almost a little low for me (I've become such a prude!!) but not like, crack-showing. The denim is fabulous though and doesn't at ALL stretch out like some of my other jbrands (including another jett wash that bags out like crazy! ) so I guess it's a ok trade-off!
