Currently I have 15 luxury bags. Saturday I will be going to Scottsdale Fashionphile to sell 11 items. 2 are bags. I will be selling my LV DA Speedy 30B. I bought this bag 5 years ago and have used it maybe 5 days. Never warmed up to it, hated the opening and all the vachetta made me nervous. It’s freaking brand new. I’m also taking my Chanel jumbo. I’m also taking several random items I’ve never used. I tell ya, what a wake up call to go through all of my lux items and receipts to discover the enormous amount of money I’ve spent on items I never use.
anyway, I really evaluated my must keep bags. I will keep my Givenchy Antigona and my Mulberry Bayswater.
The bags that I can’t part with are all LV. The most current is my mono Pochette Metis. The others are all pre 2017. Most are 2007-2010. These are my go to, most used favorites.
I now know that I am truly a LV mono, DE devotee. I am not a Chanel girl, not my style.
I feel some kind of realization that I truly love LV and I love mono canvas. I’m excited to let my items go to FP on Saturday. I actually just purchased a like new DA Galliera PM last week. I have discovered over the last 16 years that my ultimate bags are Speedy 35, Neverfull MM and the Galliera PM.
I think I’ve achieved purse peace! Thanks for listening, whew, I feel good letting this off my chest, thanks for reading

It's great you have really thought about what you can let go and are sure as you can be on what you do like. I am thinking I am truly a LV person - I'm in UK and do love my mulberry bags but since a life style change, I should let go of my larger bags(the mulberry ones) and keep my mini bags(mostly LV pochettes with long strap). If I need a larger bag, I have several longchamp le pliage original and neo. I just can't let the mulberry go yet, it's the heavy grain leather!!!

I truly love your epiphany. I also hope I can reach purse peace soon. I am also an LV girl, love this brand so much, already 12+ items collected. Still don't foresee a stop sign.

Love this. Over the years I have bought and parted ways with bags from so many other brands. I don't regret anything as such, because everything I owned I loved at the time. However I always come back to LV. Unfortunately increasing prices and declining quality control has somewhat put me off buying new, but I will continue to seek out outstanding vintage pieces. I own a handful of bags from other brands which I love -- Mulberry, Gucci, Balenciaga to name a few -- but the majority of my collection is LV and I'm more than happy with that, particularly the bags from 10+ years ago that I kept, which are of incredible quality and craftsmanship.
