Okay so I've been on a sort of self-imposed ban lately and have been doing really well. We just closed 2 weeks ago on our new home and I've been trying to be good. And I have been for WEEKS! I knew as soon as the Helmuts came in I was going to break it, but I did more than break it.

In the last 8 days.......

1.Emerald Green Yo-Yo Platforms - so pretty but so uncomfortable
2.Nude New Simples - they were supposed to be purple - SA sent wrong color but now I am keeping them cause i love them
3.Purple New Simples - expected by fedex tomorrow
4.Black Helmut - words can not describe how happy I am.... the first style of CL I ever really noticed
5.Peacock/Teal Simple 100's - I have the suede VP's in the same color and love them. I am a Simple stalker - I must have them all
and lastly my preorder that I really meant to cancel but conveniently showed up at work today
6.Peniche 120 - they are purple but less grape and more eggplant. And OMG they are comfy out of the box.

My darling hubby is going to :faint: or :throwup: . I did the math and I almost :throwup:.

I wish my camera were working and as soon as it is I promise to post pics.
Damn Peter and his shoe porn and the stupid albums of shoes to look at from the boutiques. Oy Vey!

The funny part is I'm not really looking for enabling...I've apparently already done that. I just needed to tell people who would understand.....

Yikes! The day I buy 8 pairs is the day you read about a girl getting arrested in TN for robbing a bank.

Congrats on the lovely purchases, though - must post pics soon!!!

you know what though? they all sound like reasonable purchases to me! each has a good reason for being purchased and they're all so different. lol as i was reading through your list, i genuinely understood why you got each one. maybe i've just gotten really good at justifying my CL purchases...or you made some really awesome purchases! buy now, ban later? :sneaky:

God I love tPF. If I told one of my friends IRL about 6 pairs in 8 days they'd drag me to a psychiatric hospital. But you ladies - you not only congratulate me. You UNDERSTAND! :tpfrox:

This should be our CL forum motto......BUY NOW, BAN LATER!!!! Perfect.

You are too cute Shoes. I love this forum for the same reason. We understand each other and don't judge. I can't wait to see the pics of your new purchases.

BTW, I don't believe in bans or fad diets!!! This should be a good example of why you should never deny yourself shoes and go on a ban. You end up going crazy and eating the entire bag of cookies!!!

WOW !!!! That's a lot of shoes in 8 days !!!

May I know whether the peacock simple is the same colour as teal?? I was going to get that too but not too sure whether the peacock and teal are the same colour.

Wish you have your camera to show us some pics.
