As you might know from my Tuesday report on the thread "Who's waiting next for the Birkin?" my Birkin didn't arrive ... but my friend got one in vert anis, togo, 30cm, palladium h/w.

I, on the other hand, bought a Garden Party mainly for use as a gym/shopping bag.

Here are the pictures and it's the 35cm size. It's dark brown leather with beige-natural canvas. It's very lightweight and lots of room inside. I also put on my Bolduc twilly to personalize it a bit.

I heard in another forum that Hermès can also refurbish canvas so when the bag gets dirty, Hermès can clean it and will apparently look like brand new.

love, love it! You have the best collection - I've been loving these bags and will get a 'real' one from one of the stores this summer perhaps - they come a little smaller too, don't they? That's really nice!

Thanks shoes! Yeah, there is a smaller size than mine. There's also a bigger size than mine (but I didn't see it).

The smaller size comes also with a shoulder strap.

The inside of the bag is just a big whole to put your stuff LOL! The Hermès manager said I'll look cute carrying the bag with vegetables inside :graucho: :lol:

I LOVE my garden party...it is perfect for carrying lots of stuff - I basically use it most as a travel/kids bag...easy for them to get in and out of. It is Amazonia and leather - practically indestructable! I GREAT investment!!

Congrats La Van! I :heart: it! That's great to know that they can clean the bag. That was my only concern in deciding on the Garden Party. Thanks for the information. :biggrin: It looks great on you and I love that color combination!
