Just 10 mins ago I went to my favorite local coffee shop like always as part of my routine. This woman came in .. and my thoughts...
She's not that pretty but she has a great
taste on her accessories Which is Hermes bangle and my heart skip a beat when I
saw her Zippy wallet in rouge grenadine ..
She put it on the table where I'm sitting
waiting for my sandwich and here I am ......

I love your Zippy wallet love the vernis !!!!
She looked at me "agitated" and she
replied, " thank u but this is NOT VERNIS :P
It's Louis Vuitton !!!! My surprise, I just
Smiled and told her these in my low tone
Voice but with sarcasm .. I know it's
Louis Vuitton because I love and
Collect them .. Do u ? She looked at me
from head to toe wondering maybe..
and thinking who is this woman with rip jeans talking about expensive bags ?!?! And she
replied irritated.. NO I don't collect them and
roll her eyes on me like she's the only one
can afford luxury goods !!! :P

It makes me laugh because I remember
some thread about elegant, classy on
how we carry LV .. Now I proved that
It's not really the brand make u elegant
and fine classic woman .. It's really
How you carry it with good personality
and the way how u talk and walk !!!!!!

Some people have so much money that they truly do not have any idea about what they are buying. When I was in law school, I knew people who did not really know what kind of car they had - they knew the brand, but really had no idea what the numbers after their MB, BMW, Porsche or Lexus meant. Meanwhile, I knew everything, even the dings and the dents, about my ancient Chevy Blazer. My friend had a Lexus SUV and a Porsche but truly had no idea what any of it meant. She is the most down to earth person and never really cared about the cost of the items that her family could provide to her. She carried LV 15 years ago and I'm sure she had no idea what the bag names were nor the print or other details. I don't think knowing the name of the bags makes that much of a difference or indicates a lack of class, though in this case, the woman seemed put off and ugly about receiving a compliment which is truly the ugliest trait.

I'm not rich and can't afford all the
Luxury goods I want .. But, I'm very
knowledgable enough to talk about it !
But, my point here Is.. Not her status ..
But, she's very Arrogant when I talked
to her nicely .. Her eyes wondering on
me from head to toes like she doesn't
want to talk to me because I'm on my
Rip jeans or because I look poor in the
morning ?? Lol

For me I don't care if you're rich or
not be nice to me and I can be your
friend. I don't look on statuses ..
I look on how you communicate with
me ! Money don't buy personality !!!!

Money can buy only LV but not vernis :biggrin:

I agree- you don't have to be rich or even know what you're carrying but your attitude and how you treat others goes a long ways. And especially those who are so above me that may not want to waste their saliva talking to someone like me! :lolots:

Ugh... Reminds me of working retail this summer... I would compliment people on their bags and they would answer the same way..."this isn't a Béarn wallet its a Hermes wallet". I came to realize that most people don't know / care about the names / styles of bags. I guess we really are just a small percentage of eccentric people :amuse:

its really interesting how people can have so much and not know the names. my coworker collects LV and has a LOT but she has no idea what the names are, the lines (epi, vernis, etc) so it's difficult to talk to her about them. and she never knows when new lines launch! gosh. haha.
