Sorry for the uninspiring pictures but I’m too excited to stage something nice! Plus it’s a rainy day here so no outdoors for my new love.

I’m head over heals. The leather smells so delicious and the suede is buttery soft. Definitely not going back, no way, no how! BUT there are some concerns...

IMG_1572.jpg

Pretty obvious dent, I’m not too fussed, but is there any tips on lessening the damage? Should I leave it stuffed for a few days?

IMG_1571.jpg

Some sort of residue? This is the only hardware affected. Not really sure what to do here, would hate to ruin the finish.

Also of course as many have said before, the box was damaged upon arrival. Bums me out a little, but oh well!

Any tips anyone has would be greatly appreciated! I want this beauty to last 100 years [emoji7]

It's worrying that the hardware is already tarnished. I believe they will replace hardware under their 1 year warranty but I don't think they have replacement 1941 hangtags. Can you exchange this in store?

Yes, sent from JAX. I’m not very close to my retail store but I could make a trip if need be. I don’t believe they have any other dark denims available however, at least not in store. I don’t know what to do now! My head says it was too expensive to not be perfect, but my heart doesn’t want to give it up when it only just arrived! [emoji26]

It's my belief that a new bag should be perfect, with NO tarnished hardware, especially for such an expensive bag. I would at least show this to Coach and see if anything can be done.

You're right. I'll definitely take it in as soon as I can and ask them about it. I'll kick myself if it gets worse after it's too late. Thanks everyone for the advice!

I wonder if the hurricane that hit Florida has anything to do with their moisture issues. I’d send it back or at least order another one first and see if it’s better.
