Thanks so much everyone. This will be a great bag for everyday here in the casual Pac. NW. I hope I won't have to worry too much about it in the rain. We shall see and I'll let you all know how it goes. I am finally paring down my collection, so I hope to have the bags I really want very soon. 
My Paris trip last month got cancelled due to my husband having a medical emergency. He's recovering so I'm hoping to go back in March sometime and maybe I'll get my Birkin then? We'll see.
By the way, I highly recommend Travel Guard travel insurance. I received a check from them in the mail today reimbursing me for my plane ticket and other non-refunded travel expenses due to this medical crisis.

Your Massai is GORGEOUS! Youre definitely allowed to celebrate early, in fact... I think you should celebrate your bday for two weeks! That'll justify all your lovely gifts!
