Michael Kors "Item" Satchel

Does anyone have this bag? I was browsing the Michael Kors Outlet and spotted it - it's verrry nice in person and I'm tempted to buy it, but I have a personal rule of not buying handbags on "first sight."

The SA referred to the bag as the "Item Satchel." I wanted to look up reviews online, but the bag does not seem to have any online presence, even on tPF.

Is this an outlet-only MK bag? Can anyone provide a review? TIA!

I saw what I believe was a few of these at the MK Outlet store yesterday....very pretty. I, personally, haven't seen any in Macy's or the retail MK locations though. I didn't see that tangerine color either. Sorry I can't provide more info than that

Thanks for your reply! I'm not familiar with MK, so I wasn't sure if the same bag was sold in department stores. I'm considering getting the bag in a forest green color - it seems like a good deal considering how nice the bag is, even for an outlet-only item.

Forest green would be excellent...especially in fall. Please post pics if you get it! Would love to see

I find (and I think most on this forum would agree with me) that the outlet MK bags are near or same quality as the retail/lifestyle bags, just some have different styles (such as the Hamiltons have the name plate instead of lock and key, etc) So, in that respect, they are a great bargain and great quality for the price!
