Italic and Lastbrand leather bags

So I've been going on a purse splurge because all of my old bags are worn down. I bought a coach bag and a cuyana bag. Later I came across Italic and Lastbrand--companies that claim to be of the same quality as higher end bags like Prada and Celine, but with no markup. I bought a $150 tote from Italic and a few $100 totes from Last brand. But I cannot figure out if it is worth it. The lastbrand products are clearly high quality--better than Cuyana for sure it seems, but the Italic products it is really hard to tell if it is high quality versus a knockoff. What do you all suggest? I do not have experience with these sorts of companies. Should I trust no name stuff, or should I stick with the branded stuff?

So far, I really like all the products I've gotten from Italic. I just got the Albee card case (light blue) and the Reese coin case (pink). Both are really great quality. The Albee is a really nice saffiano leather with nylon lining, and feels really durable. The Reese coin case actually blew me away. The leather is soft, thick, and buttery, and the lining is an even softer lambskin leather (but in a camel color). The gold hardware feels heavy and substantial, like a high end designer product. The Reese came with a dust bag, the Albee did not. Both card cases were in the $30-35 each range....an amazing price for what you're getting and worth the $120 annual membership in my opinion.

Judging by their SLGs, I would say the quality is pretty fantastic, especially for the price. I admit it doesn't make my heart flutter the same way as a Prada or YSL, psychologically brands do somewhat mean something to me. Italic is great if you don't care about branding and logos as much, and want minimalist design with great quality at an affordable price point. Or, if you're like me, and your collection is a mix of both premiere and contemporary...Italic is a nice addition.

I've also gotten my husband the men's card case and a hoodie and sweatpants.....all he's really happy with. I have the women's boxy cropped t-shirt, which has all the perfect proportions (not too overly cropped, not too oversized or boxy, sleeves are a flattering length, the fit is just perfect).

Otaythx, are you still happy with your purchases from Italic? Have you bought anything else?

Yeah I am still pretty happy with my SLGs from italic, and they have all really held up with frequent use. Only thing is my hubby's sweatpants and hoodie started pilling really badly, but after emailing a photo to customer service, they were totally fine with giving me store credit. I've also bought some home/kitchen stuff that were great, and a solid gold chain necklace that I wear almost daily. Comparing the specs of their jewelry and diamond grades with competitors, I think the fine jewelry is definitely a fantastic value. Have not tried any purses, so still can't comment on that!
