Hello-
I recently purchased a Isthme buffalo horn/ lacquer pendant & upon closer inspection at home, noticed that it appears warped (from the side). I'm assuming this is the nature of buffalo horn, but I just wanted to check with others to see if they have the same issue with these horn pendants. Unfortunately, there was only one available in the store-

Still unsure whether I should keep this pendant or not, though the lacquer is a pretty rouge coral. The "warpness" of the pendant seems to bother me a little...would the Fidele & Lift GM horn pendants have the same issue?

Thanks for your input :)

Thanks chincac for your response. Unfortunately, our family was affected by the hurricane so will need to tend to more urgent matters. Scary experience, to say the least. Hope to be back on TPF soon-

^Thank you for your thoughts--we are still without heat & power 7 days later, but consider ourselves one of the luckier ones in the aftermath of this storm.

Just as a quick update, I did finally manage to ask the SM about the warped look of the isthme pendant & was told that the pendant should in fact be flat (looking at it from the side). It seems it was an irregular piece. Quickly managed to exchange it for a Fidelio with rouge coral lacquer inset.

This Fidelio pendant is marked Hermes, Made in Vietnam on the back.

Sorry, in my haste didn't have chance to take pics of the warped piece-

Thanks for letting me share- I'm glad I was able to exchange it.
