Issues with small love bracelet?

My husband bought me a small YG Love bracelet in August 2024 and within a couple of months I noticed that the lock untwisted easily, the closure was uneven, and both the hinge/lock sides of the bangle would pinch my skin, often times pulling out little arm hairs.
In December I reached out to customer service since the SA I purchased from never got back to me about my concerns and a different SA I saw while we were on vacation in Scottsdale was more interested in selling me something than listening to me. I was frustrated but happy that CS was going to have my bracelet looked at.

Anyway, it took about a month to receive my bracelet back from being repaired, but the lock closure is still uneven. Also, within 2 hours of wearing it, it plucked out an arm hair. It sounds silly, but this is painful and annoying. I have $500 hinged bracelets that don’t do this.
Customer service has been very nice and they’re sending me a label to ship it back to the workshop tomorrow, but I’m nervous about the appearance looking worse after a 2nd repair because the edges are already softer after that first refinishing & repair.

I really value everyone’s experiences and opinions on here and am hoping for some insight…
Am I about to get the run around and have this bracelet repaired/altered over and over again?
Is there anything I can say or do? Does anyone else have these issues with the small love bracelet?

I’m adding a couple of images from yesterday. One pic has my sad little arm hair that got plucked out, and the other is just a close up photo I took at home.

Thank you so much and I’m sorry for the rant. I completely adore Cartier, but I’ve never had anything repaired with them before. I want to keep my expectations realistic and I don’t want to drag this out. Hoping for the best, but definitely nervous!!

I am sorry you have had a bad experience with your purchase. I have not had any problems with mine. Ironically, I have more hair than you on my forearm and have never experienced pulling. Upon comparing mine, yours looks slightly more raised. Maybe because of the zoomed-in picture? I noticed my bracelet was slightly raised a week after purchasing it and never mentioned anything to my SA. I think I briefly read somewhere on here that this style has a side that is slightly more raised.

Thank you for your feedback. It’s good to hear that yours hasn’t had any issues.
Hopefully issues like this are a rare occurrence.
The bracelet pinches me on both the lock and hinge side, so maybe it’s from when the little gaps close a throughout the day?
Sizing should be fine and I don’t think it’s too snug. My wrist is about 17cm and it’s a size 19.
I’m not sure what the issue is, but I’ve had it less than 6 months and I’m bummed to be separated from it and also bummed about it getting polished during the repair process. I wish they’d just swap it for a new one.

Mine came off once and I’m fully convinced it was user error lol
The lock on the small is great imo, but nothings perfect 100% of the time. I read very few quality issues, but they’re typically very good about service.
Be VERY clear about what you’ve experienced so they can try and fix the issue.

I thought I was clear with all the notes the first time, but this time the very sweet CS has put together her own notes for the workshop as well.
Hopefully everything goes well!
I’m just worried about the bracelet being polished some more. It’s already a lot softer than the love ring I bought about a month before my husband purchased the bracelet for me.

I had an issue similar to yours. I told my wonderful sales associate I did not want it polished and she put in a note. I ended up getting my bracelet replaced after continuing to have the same issues after the repair.

That’s so awesome it worked out well for you. I don’t know what my resolution will be at present. I would prefer not to have it sent back to the workshop since they are the experts and already repaired it and then sent it back to me, yet the problem persists. However, it appears that’s my only option. I’m contemplating just living with the pinching or selling it. I hate feeling like a burden to them and also waiting to go through this process again.
Maybe it’ll go better this time though ❤️

How did your repair go in the end ? Was this ever resolved ?

It was resolved, thank goodness! I went to a boutique in person (had to travel since there aren’t any boutiques near me.)
The bracelet went out again for repair and when the SA received it back, she said the second repair was not up to standards and they were able to exchange it.
I did not have the option to switch to something different. I would have preferred a cuff with no mechanism. And there is not a warranty on the replacement.
I’m happy to report that the new one has ZERO issues and it locks very tightly. No wiggling, nor hair pulling. It’s perfect 🙌
And now I actually have two of them. I love the small size. Very discreet and beautiful.
