Issue with Swagger 27 strap?

I really like the black pebbled leather Swagger 27, but was looking at the reviews on Coach.com and several have mentioned problems with the strap just falling off and/or problems with the zipper closure on the bag. Can you share your experiences with me before I purchase this bag?

I've had 2 Swagger 27s and had no issues with the long strap & I carried them a lot! I know there was talk of this issue in the Swagger Clubhouse, so you might check there.
I think it's a great bag & it doesn't seem like the newer Swaggers are having this issue. Good luck deciding!
