Michael Kors Issue with my checkered saffiano travel tote..

I just got my new beauty a little over a week ago and I'm in love! I noticed today, though that there are 2 tiny spots that of course I only notice because it's mine.. It's 2 small areas where it looks like the black has rubbed off (is that even possible?) or maybe it's a white scuff on the black? I included 2 photos of the two spots.. They're so small that it might seem silly, but I'm sure everyone can relate!

My question is, should I take it back to the MK store, or should I just love my bag like normal and just chalk it up to regular use? I know some marks will happen, but I'd like it to be longer than 10 days after I bought it!

Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks

If it bugs you that much then take it back but for me personally your probably going to end up with way worse things in the bag! I learn to love the imperfections on my bag because I know I'm getting use and its nothing that won't already happen. Its also dependent on if you plan to use this bag daily or only sometimes because in the case only sometimes is take it back. If the store is close do it why not but you might end up with another bag with another imperfection that you can't live with

If it bothers you enough then take it back... but whos to say it wont happen again from regular wear... plus... I'm not sure if I can even see the spots you speak of in the pics other then one really tiny tiny white spot ... but pictures blow things up at a point that they are in your face when in reality they aren't really even noticeable to anyone that would admire the bag... but like I said if you feel as if it bothers you to the point that all you will do is look for the spots and not be looking at your beautiful bag then take it back... personally I love the checked style... I'm thinking of picking one up in the Blue and Black myself...

It looks like it could have rubbed against something. Did you try wiping it off to see if that might be it? Otherwise, if you are not satisfied, exchange it :okay::okay:

I think that is a pretty big color rub off for one week, I would take it back if it were me.

Ok ... I think I see we're the issue is at now ... I kept looking on the side of the bag but you are meaning on the bottom corner?? YES! If that the area take it back ... When I looked at the photos on my computer I thought that was the bag picking up light but this morning on my phone I see just what your talking about .. Way to big of a rub off for sure to have been 10 days old...

It looks like the marks are due to the bend in the fabric, so may be a defect with the bag. It'd really depend on how much I loved the bag if I could live with it or return it. If I were at the point of asking others, I'd probably take it back. I know the MK store has cleaner, so maybe they could clean it.

i dont think its that the black is gone/rubbed off, but that it rubbed against something
note how the white next to it (to the right) looks a little discolored, like it rubbed too
