is this YSL rive gauche bg authentic? help!

I bought this bag on ebay, I live in Toronto and we don't have a YSL store, the bag looks as described on the ad but the leather feels different than one I remember seeing in NY,is stiffer and shinier, is it possible that it comes in diferent types of leather ? how can I check if this bag is authentic?
help!

I don't think it is the leather seems to hard and shiny.. like the fakes.
