Hi! Took the plunge on the crystal city. I owned the canvas bb monogram in the Xs size but sold because I didn’t love. Thought I’d try out to larger size. Does it look ridiculous on me? I’m 5’6 and typically wear a s/Xs & 26 in jeans. Love the crystals. Am thinking of it as a casual run around in athletic gear, dark denim and not worry about denim transfer, etc…I don’t have many “casual” bags as I recently streamlined my collection. Keep or return? Also, has anyone who owns this had issues with the crystals?

Love it. Don't forget it'll soften and start to slouch.

It depends on where you want the attention. You have a smashing little bod. I noticed that first but then the bag took over and was the star of the show. Not that that’s a problem, but you might want to consider that.
The other thing to note is that you’re increasing the size of the bag AND you’re giving it a lot of bling.
Because it’s in your face a little more than a regular city, will this start to wear you down in terms of knowing your husband doesn’t like it?
But to answer your question, no, I do not think it’s too big for you. You can pull this off.

For myself, if I’m asking others about keeping something and what they think, I know the answer already and know that later I will regret if I did keep it. But that’s just my process.
I tend to purchase things that I’m absolutely sure about.

Not too big. Perfect. But it doesn’t sound like you are comfortable with it
thank you! I love it however I’m really trying to keep my collection down so being very selective. It’s also definitely the largest bag I’ve owned in a while. But I do have a need for a carryall that I don’t have to worry as much about or baby.

Ha, I giggled at your smashing bod comment, thank you! The bag is definitely a bit louder with the size & hardware. But I find I get bored easily with bags so hoping that the bling factor keeps me interested  My husbands always loves my bags but every time I’ve added a bal he’s never been a fan. However his taste has never had an effect on whether or not I wear or keep a bag. I sort of have a defiant personally by nature so it kind makes me like the bag more, haha!!! He likes all my other bags so this one’s my rebellion I guess:lol: I have owned a lot of bags and sold a lot over the years so I’m trying to only purchase bags that are different or wow me. This one fills a size void as well as a bling factor. So I’m going to sleep on it for a few days. But deep down I think I’d regret returning. I’ve done mainly mini/small bags like most people lately so I’m ready for big bags to be back! I think there is also an adjustment period for the shock of the big bag look on me again as well.
