Is this the empreinte Métis melting issue?

I just got this back in from 2020, I believe this is within the years that the glazing has the sticky issue? It’s sticky and I’m sending it in for a reglaze, but I’m wondering if they’re going to return just for store credit? Thanks for your help!

What did LV tell you? I had a limited edition neverfull purchased in 2013 that had melting glazing and I was told they couldn't repair and I was stuck with store credit. It's shocking to me that a brand that portrays themselves as high quality had this issue to begin with, was unable to offer any real resolution, and so many years later it's still having same problem. I have a couple other items that have marketing glazing too.

I had several bags that suffered from the melting glazing period. My understanding was it primarily effected bags produced from 2013 to 2015. It's possible that your bag was new old stock. Have you checked the date code? I would take it in and have it looked at if you are near a boutique.

Thank you, I took it in yesterday and they quoted 10 weeks for repair. Of course it will be looked at sooner (I'm pretty sure) and they will let me know the outcome. The date code was December of 2020, so not relatively that old.
