Is this souple or ridgid?

It's a souple (also known as a retourne), Fach. If you want a Kelly without the piping, which is stitched on the outside of the bag, you'll want a sellier (or rigide.) It's a more formal, structured look, but everyone seems to have their own preference.

I think both styles are lovely.

What I meant to say was I didn't want the contrasting piping. I don't mind if the piping is the same color.

I love the sellier too, but plan to start with a retourne 35 [I think] :biggrin:

^^^ You'll love it, and you won't have to wait for an SO if you don't want contrast lining and piping! All you'll have to decide on is the leather style, color and, of course, the hardware color. Good luck finding the perfect combination.
