Is this Rolex very wearable

I know very little about Rolex’s, but this caught my eye. However would that pink dial be wearable with very many outfits?

Yes, believe it or not, people don't get that close to your wrist to see it. It's the bracelet strap that stands out from several feet away. ( I've had a Rolex for 30+ years, and unless someone comes up and grabs your wrist or is sitting right next to you-they don't know!)

Do they have an age on the watch? The dial is unusual, but if it's an estate/older piece, could be authentic. I've never seen a dial like that, so a little suspicious.

I think with the white gold color band you could probably wear this with quite a bit - browns, blues, white, black... I think the pink colored gold that is on cyclical trend right now is what is harder to match with a wardrobe and existing jewelry.

wantabalenciaga, be careful buying a Rolex with "custom" or aftermarket parts. If it ever needs service at a Rolex Service Center, they will restore it to factory original and charge you accordingly for those replaced parts. You could of course, have it serviced elsewhere if needed.

For the first watch you showed, with the pink diamond dial, be cautious. The photo shows the springbar is slightly exposed which may indicate case damage or a bent lug. In any event, that watch doesn't look good to me. I agree that it needs to be authenticated if you choose to pursue it. If you decide to buy pre-loved, please be sure to check out the seller! Buy the seller before you buy the watch.

Cheers!

wantabalenciaga,

Your puppy avatar photo is adorable!

Ok, now about the watch. The watch pictured in your thread starting post looks very dated (in an outdated sense, not a classic sense) to me. I do not think the pink dial would have much impact on the wearability of the watch.

The watches that you link to (watch in second link was sold, so I did not see a picture of it) look very wearable and also currently fashionable.

Oh man, my taste totally changed since I posted! I ended up really studying all the combinations out there (obsessing, lol) and bought one that I just love. I didn't realize how common it was to change the dials, etc, to after market parts. I ended up with an original white dial with diamond markers from a jeweler I trust. I do love me some colors and diamonds, but this is still pretty flashy and a lot more classy (and authentic!), haha. I am super embarrassed to have even made my original posting!
