Is this normal? Neo NF MM

Hi Everyone!

Out of my full collection, I only have one NF and it is the Mono Neo NF MM in Fuchsia. I was on a long car ride the other day and something on my NF caught my eye. It looks as if the glazing (if that's what it is called) is coming off in certain areas.

Is this normal? It's not like this everywhere and I feel it looks "worse" in person but I couldn't get very good shots.

No...it should not look like this!!! I've had my Mono NF GM for 5 yrs. and it looks the same as the day I purchased it

It's so weird. The top parts look like this too...




It's not like in use this bag everyday... I rotate bags around 3 times a week ... Sometimes more depending on my mood

Glazing will sometimes crack and chip off, but it usually happens on very old bags or on those that have been abused...even then I've seen 20+ year old bags without this happening. Since your NF looks neither old or neglected you should take it back to LV and have them repair it

I got the bag October 2013.

I would like to bring it back and see if they will repair the handles for me, I just wanted to make sure this wasn't the regular "wear and tear" of a NF.

Up close it even looks as if there is "hair" on those areas...

So the leather fringed? I hope LV does understand and also think this is not regular wear and tear. I have seen this issue on vintage bags ... yours seam to be too young to act like this. All the best and keep us updated!

It is normal. Mine is like this and I have it less than a year. Is not a glazing my SA said. Is just red painted on the leather.
