I've got a '97 Noe that I'm collecting from the repairers this week as the trim finally crumbled and needed to be replaced. I wasn't sure if it was worth the 150 AUD to replace the trim but the rest of the bag is in great condition so I went ahead. My handle is getting a little 'crunchy' and I suspect that at some point I'll have to get a secondary market replacement if the rest of the bag holds up.
As for yours, I think it still looks usable! I'd get the vachetta conditioned to keep it supple and prevent further cracking. The corner can be repaired professionally or at home using a leather filler and some matching leather paint.
It's nice having an LV that you don't have to be precious about so enjoy her for as long as you can!
