is this easy to do? (alteration)

I have this dress and it fits me perfect...Except the top is to loose like where the elastic is. I don't want to give it up though. Does anyone know if this is an easy alteration if I take it to the tailor...can they do something to make it stay up?

They'll just take it in a bit at the zipper and that's it.

EDIT: If possible, don't let them take it in on the sides, otherwise you'll have some itchy/annoying fold on the inside which will rub against your skin.

Thank you. I'm not familiar with this type of alteration. It doesn't have a zipper though. It's like a jersey type fabric at top and it has elastic but the elastic is not very stretchy at all, so that's why it doesn't really stay up I think.

It should be easy. They might even be able to just replace the elastic.
