Is This Common?

I ordered Andiamo Clutch about a week ago. I even called them to confirm the order and they said it should arrive by 5/15. Today it got cancelled - after having me wait a week. Is this common? I know these are sought after but even after I bought it, they still had them "in stock" for another hours or so. It was supposed to be my first Bottega purchase and so excited about it.

I’ve not ordered from BV.com in years. It is considered separate from the boutiques.

I usually work directly with a boutique. The team in Carmel is outstanding and if you call them I know they’ll work hard to track one down for you.
