I'm thinking about buying this black city as my first bag. Can you gals help me to dissect the leather? Please describe this leather with all your expertise. Is it veiny/supple-looking, etc? I prefer non-veiny and non-distressed leather and this looks it, right? But I also want good quality leather. Do these tassels look like the thin ones or the thick ones? Do I have your approval?

Sorry, to be in the minority here...But I am not a fan of this leather. It's too smooth and there doesn't seem to be any distressing (for my taste anyway...) I wonder how soft / stiff it is??? I could be wrong...

Love the leather and it looks authentic. If you are still in doubt, smell it. Bbags have a distinct leather smell. Good luck!

If you like smooth leather this looks like a great bag, I myself prefer veiny leather...good luck I don't think you can go wrong here.
