Is this Birkin distorted or no?

Hello,
I will be purchasing my first and maybe the only one Birkin 30. I was debating between Black, Gold and Etoupe but decided to go with the Gold In Togo Leather and Palladium Hardware ( Hope it’s a good choice). I will be purchasing from Fashionphile because I don’t want to spend a lot in the boutique and wait for the offer. Anyway I was asking for additional photos today and they sent me lots of pictures. The bag had stuffing in it ( bubble paper) and when I saw the photos ( not the ones from the website) I don’t know if the bag is distorted or no? Will it return to the original shape? Does it look distorted? Or this unevenness is permanent now? Photos of this bag on the website looked great but now I don’t know if it’s normal for this bag to look like this after all the stuffing and will it take the original shape? On some photos it looks Good but on some other ones it looks distorted. Thank you!

What is odd to me is the feet protectors, those often come with non original bags. None of my bags from the boutique ever came with feet protections-

The protecters may be a FP thing. Anyhow, to the bag itself, it looks like whomever owned it before used it as the true tote that they’re designed to be. To your question of whether it will return to its normal structure, the answer is no. If you do not like the structure of the bag as it is, then you should pass.

Wow, I'm impressed with the number of additional photos they sent you.

The bag will not return to its original structure. It may help a little bit if you store it with filling and lay it down on its back but I don't think to the extent that you're hoping for. So if you're hoping for more intact shape in a bag, then this bag may be a pass for you.

If your main concern is shape, you’ll likely want to look for either Epsom and/or sellier bags. Togo and Clemence will soften over time while being used.

This is a picture of two of my wife’s Kelly bags. Both Togo but the one on the left has turned into a puddle of leather and the one on the right is sellier, so it keeps its form. For HER, she much prefers the broken in and used look of the one of the left. For YOU, it sounds like you’d prefer the one on the right.

It's Togo so it's going to soften eventually anyway, it looks good to me

What about bag inserts? Do you recommend these? Will it help to keep the shape better?

I will add that I don't think the bag is distorted. It just has a relaxed shape due to wear, but not floopy/floppy by any means. It looks like it's in pretty good condition.

A bag insert will help a bag stay upright. But again, I don't see a huge level of slouchiness in this bag so not sure one is necessary. If you do use an insert, in any bag, be sure to not sure to not store the bag with one in it, and take the insert out occasionally as the insert can create indents in the leather.

Sure, doesn't hurt to ask FP about the feet protectors. FP probably left them on if they were there when FP received the bag so as to not be accused of altering the bag from its original condition. Some people are more sensitive about the feet on a bag. I've never used feet protectors on any of mine.

Just called Fashionphile and they will get back to me with a video of the bag and will find out about the feet protects as well

They just sent me a message saying that those feet protectors would be something that the previous owner has added. They also sent me a video of the bag. Here are some screenshots from the video ( as I cannot upload the video). Based on that I think the bag looks really good.
