Is this bag real crocodile or embossed?

Hi all,

Can someone please tell me if this bag is real croc? I bought it about 16 years ago from overseas. It was from a handbag shop. The inside tag says, “Leather home” so I’m guessing it is from a local supplier? I bought it not really caring about the material, but the guy did say it was made of real leather. The price wasn’t too outrageous, but I remember it being pricier than average (maybe real calf leather embossed?). I’m evaluating my bag collection and would like to see what to keep and what to sell . I included d pics of front and back with close ups of both. The inside (pic #6) seems to be made from a different leather. I’m leaning towards embossed calf leather, but would appreciate any feedback. Thanks

Thank you for your reply. It was actually bought on a trip to Egypt! Im impressed you could tell  but what is the difference between embossed and printed, assuming the guy was truthful when he said it was natural leather? It was if I remember 700 Egyptian pounds, average bags were “maybe” 200-300 back then.
That's actually printed nile croc not even embossed or carved, just for reference a nile croc skin cost at least 1200$ and since that bag look like it used all of it, expect at least a peice of 2000$ for a croc bag of this kind and size , other things factor in but that's a minimum cost for the producer side

It’s either embossed and overcharged, or it could be Caiman crocodile which is much rougher and less expensive but still real.

I use mainly exotics and own a Caiman and it’s similar…9E5B945C-6741-4F25-99EA-E47061B1C5B0.jpeg
