I am considering purchasing this particular bag and since I am not too familiar with Gucci, I was wondering: is the lavender leather outdated? Or too trendy to be worn couple of years from now? Also, how much, do you guys, think this bag is worth? How much would you pay? I believe it is a discontinued style from 2012 and in mint condition. Thank you, any suggestion is greatly appreciated!

I dont see how its outdated? the lavendar is a great summer color. I think $400/$500 tops for price
Definitely perfect for spring and summer. Recently LV did come out with a lighter color of Lavender for Vernis and Empreinte line. So the color shouldn't feel outdated. 
I had one in the diamante print with burgundy trim and never thought of it becoming dated. I sold mine earlier this year ($500) mainly because the inside zipper pocket was too small for a full sized wallet. They retailed for a little over $1100AUD in 2011/12 and $880AUD when I got mine on sale. Good luck. I love the soft shape and versatility of this bag. Good luck.
It looks like a classic! Lavender is a lighter color and fairly neutral. I think it would match almost everything
