Isn't that against ebay's policies?

I once sold a pair of unworn shoes and this guy emailed me, asking me if I would be willing to wear these shoes for 4weeks+ if his winning bid was over a certain amount and if maybe I was willing to bring the shoes to his home.

I don't understand why this has to happen on ebay? I'm sure there's plenty of sites where fetishists (sp?!) can get what they want without bothering serious sellers who are only interested in selling an unused item?!
