is there difference when filing a dispute or paypay?

hey all, i want to know what the difference between filing a dipsute with ebay and or paypal? are they the same?

i am filing 3 items on ebay and one of them thru paypal and 2 thru ebay... is there any differnce ?

from personal experience when a paypal claim is opened the money the seller received is taken and put on hold until the issue is resolved but a ebay dispute does not hold the money.

I am sure there are other differences but the money hold is the most drastic difference

can i close the 2 dispute i open with ebay and open the same 2 dispute with paypal?
