Is there any way to remove/rub out the bullseye stamp?

Bought a wristlet off ebay...it evidently came from an outlet (no biggie to me) but the bullseye stamp is on the backside of the hang tag.

I dunno why this bothers me...but it does.

is there a way to rub it out? or make it less noticeable? I'm rubbing it with my chapstick (the rounded top cap)..am I a dork or what? heheh

Maybe you can try to heat it up somehow to release the indentation. Not sure how to warm the leather up...maybe put it in the microwave for a few seconds at a time, or put it into a small pot of water that has boiled for a short time and see if that helps.

If you put it in water - won't that warp the Coach imprint on the other side (if it works???)...

Maybe try some leather moisturizer and a blow dryer???... I dunno, I really have no ideas here... :smile:

I don't think putting it in water, ecspecially hot water, would be good for the leather. You don't want to get the target out just to have the leather look horrible. I think your best bet would be to keep rubbing at it. You can also see about getting another hang tag. I think I read somewhere on here that coach will send out new hangtags if you call them with the style number. Also, you could probably snag one off ebay. Just my two cents.

(I am really hoping I am not the only one that gets this joke. If so, it means I am here WAY too much!!)

I got the joke..hahahea. I've only been on here since beginning of Jan and I find myself spending way too much time on here as it is. i can only imagine what I'm going to be like in 6 months:wtf: . its soo worth it!

THIS IS THE MOST ADDICTING SITE. I CANNOT STAY AWAY EITHER. I KEEP TELLING MYSELF I MUST STOP CHECKING THIS OUT SO OFTEN, BUT I DON'T WANT TO MISS ANYTHING. IT IS SO MUCH FUN.
