Is there a standard leather that lines the inside of a Kelly?

I just noticed my togo Kelly is not lined with togo leather. Is there a “standard” leather that lines the inside of each bag? Or does it change season to season? Vary with color or style of bag?

The inside of my bag looks a lot like chèvre. Just wondering.

Interesting bc the color matches perfectly but the same colors look different depending on the leather…..interesting but obviously they could make the leather look identical. Interesting.

yes, I know it has to do with the color ratios specific to the color and they don’t change it for the leather.

I wonder why they use chèvre as the lining?
Maybe because the grain is rather flat and the leather's light, and reasonably scratch-proof? I always worry a bit more with my bags that are lined in Swift (although Swift is not that delicate) and agneau.

When I ordered a Togo sellier Kelly (back when that was a thing), I was told it would be lined in Togo, but it was lined in chèvre.

This isn’t about a Kelly, so hopefully not too OT, but I had this same question about my bolide 27 in epsom. I’d always heard most Hermes bags are lined in (a kind of) chèvre but the lining of my bolide is nearly grainless and smooth, buttery, and silky soft. Maybe my bag is lined in swift, as the lining is decidedly different from the chèvre SLGs I own. I don’t have anything in swift, so cant directly compare.

Agneau, usually.
