I know we need to have as many reliable, knowledgeable aithenticators as possible.
They should know their craft thru hands on experience, reading experience and a lot of watching and absorbing. Most of all, to not depend on only once source and to ask questions. Having specialists seems like the best way to get the most accuracy, but that is simply my opinion/
So, I see a new one now up on EBay and would like some input. After some questionable actions on behalf of one previously, caution seems to be the key.

Please look and tell me what you think.

What does this mean?

Unlike some other authentication services, even eBay recommended, ALWAYSAUTHENTICATE opinions are based upon the item reviewed only, and will not be biased or favored towards the customer/buyer, if our opinion differs.


And this made me laugh!

This is from a listing. Keep in mind they have 3 feedbacks as a seller!

and this -- yup, 3 for 3!
Currently, we are on a good track record, and 100% of claims have been decided in favor of our customers/buyers.


If you ask me, this is a reincarnation of *****************'s listings. That seller is no longer selling their authentications but the similarity of the listing style and formatting is way too close to be a coincidence.

Oh, and I should add a comment I made months ago with regard to the "other" similar company with similar listings: Why do I want to pay $9 - $50 for pre-purchase authentications when I can get it here or on the ebay fashion board for free? the $9 - $50 authentications won't help in the event of a dispute any more or less than a free one so why spend the money?

JMHO.

I can understand spending the money after the auction in order to win a SNAD claim. Why would you spend the money to authenticate one listing you may or may not win? Especially since there are plenty of us who provide the same service for free.

I am not at all familiar with the authentication drama here, or this company, or their previous issues. In a nut she'll is this company inept, as I recently used ****************** for authentication of a designer item.. Not a purse. Should I be revisiting thing authentication?
