Is there a MJ repair policy?

My SO is paying a good portion towards the Teri bag for my Bday and I'm really excited because I love it and all I own is Coach (I work there so I guess i'm a little snob if I don't get a discount now, haha).

However i'm only hesitant because I haven't heard about a repair policy or anything for Marc by Marc bags. Is there anything or are you stuck to fix it on your own? (ie. leather peeling, stiching coming undone, hardware breaking etc).

I think if your bag was purchased at MJ, they will do any repair for free. Otherwise, you'll have to pay a fee to have something fixed.

Coach has a great repair policy, unlike other designer labels.

Wait, what?! That would be so ridiculous if the Collection store didn't have a policy.

I've heard that anything purchased at the MJ boutique will be repaired for free, including Collection. But if your bag was purchased at Nordstrom, Saks, NM, BG, Bloomies then you'd have to pay the MJ boutique to repair it. If you did purchase it at a dept store, I would bring the issue up with that store and see if they can help you out.
